Cambridge Food: The first of it’s kind for Food Retail in SA
With over 25 stores nationwide and climbing, Cambridge Food is South Africa’s latest entrant into the retail grocery arena and aims to be the number one choice for low income food retail consumers in the areas in which it trades.
Focussing on consumers within the LSM 2-7 range, our customers are characterised by high levels of unemployment, reliance on social grants as a primary source of income, and heavy dependence on taxis, trains and busses to travel between work and home.
Location and accessibility is what sets our stores apart as our goal is to provide an efficient, convenient shopping experience to our customers. Cambridge Food stores are located conveniently on or nearby high traffic commuter nodes and densely populated residential areas in South Africa’s city centres and townships, allowing easy access for our time-pressed, value-conscious customers.

| Fresh is what we’re about - fresh meat, fresh vegetables, fresh bread, fresh food.
