PREP TIME: 10-15 min


  • 1 Batch of Spinach
  • 500ml of Water
  • One pinch of Salt
  • 100ml of Milk
  • 1 spoon of Self-raising Flour
  • 1 teaspoon of Margarine


Bring the salted water to a boil in cooking pot and then add the chopped spinach. Let the spinach cook for 15 - 30 seconds.

Drain and cool the spinach. You can cool the spinach with cold water if you want to. Make sure the water is completely drained from the spinach.

Make the cream sauce: Melt the margarine on a hot saucepan, add the milk and self raising. Stir until the paste is thick enough.

Mix the spinach and paste for creamed spinach.
