Ingredients

  • 50g of Butter/Margarine
  • 1 chopped Onion
  • 1 pinch of Salt
  • 250g of chopped Spinach
  • 250g of sliced Mushrooms
  • 100ml of Cooking Oil
  • 4 x Hake Fillets skinned and boned
  • 150ml of Light Cream

Method:

Place one medium frying pan on a hot stove with 50ml of cooking oil.
Place the sliced onions and mushrooms in the pan and fry for 6 to 8 minutes.
Add the baby spinach, butter and cream and cook for a further 2 minutes, until the spinach has wilted down. Season with salt and pepper.
Place another medium frying pan on a hot stove with 50ml of cooking oil.
Season the hake with salt and pepper and fry for 4 to 5 minutes on each side until cooked through.
To serve, divide the creamed onions, mushrooms and spinach between four plates and top with the pan-fried hake.
